Hello. As I'm working on a new update of my Freeware list, I need your help. I need the readme's and descriptions of the programs in this category. I don't have the time and money to download all of these programs as I really don't use DVB.

http://ookami.videoxone.de/alpha/dvb.html

If I find time I'll add a few other programs too (PVAstrumento etc.).

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Mijo.

Is really no one using these programs that have no descriptions in the link?

Oh, well. Time to finish the freelist, it'll be final tommorow, if all goes well.

Cheers,

Mijo.

For me on Opera the page displays as sort of a blinking black on dark grey so I can't read it without selecting text.

But the web page for that DVD2AVI version 1.83.5 is
http://sourceforge.net/projects/save-oe/ with my test binary kept at www.trbarry.com/DVD2AVIT3.zip .

There are many authors, most listed as Sourceforge developers but also probably including Jackei, OGO, PCDVDGUY, Dr. Frankenstein, Khimera, Dividee, and DmitryR. I've never really been able to trace the full lineage.

Have you tried other pages? Does the javascript side menu works?

I will have to look into it, as I never got any complains about the compatibility of the HTML design. And I mainly use IE and only sometimes Phoenix for quick glancing.

Cheers,

Mijo.

MyTheatre 2.6

I can't remember the official home page, but seems to be the best and most stable DVB player. Supports SkyStar and TwinHan boards and others. PS: only works under winXP, I have never tested it yet because my WinXP hard disk has broken (so I'm temporaneally using WinME).

Thanks a million to both of you! :)

I will add these infos today. BTW, the new update will be released tonight, officially :) .

Any comments, critism etc. is still wanted and needed.

Cheers,

Mijo.

Hey what's the difference between progDVB 4 and 2? I use a dvb-c card, is the version 4 better?

I tried putting up Opera 7 and then backed off to Opera 6 again recently, somehow breaking all Java in the process.

So I wouldn't worry about it much. I'll fix it someday. ;)
