i made an ~8gb DVD in DVD-lab (http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/) (which is still in beta) and when i try to compress it down to a DVD5 w/ IC or DVD2One i get errors or weird occurrences...
IC: compiled the ~8gb project fine to the hdd...then ran it thru IC to get it down to a single disc....seemed to go fine...tried to the play the new DVD from the hdd (the original 8gb played perfectly) and all i get is a blank screen...i can hear my background music and everything, just NO navigation or background....weird. after fiddling in WinDVD for a minute, i could get to the movie (by right-clicking and selecting a chapter), but when i right-clicked and navigated back to the root menu, i couldn't select anything, but could, again, hear the background music and this time see the menu.
DVD2ONE: used the same compiled project and ran it thru DVD2One....but about 30 seconds into the process, it gave me an error...something like "VOB.IFO doesn't match VOB.BUP".
as per a suggestion from the DVD-lab Forum (http://www.mmbforums.com/cgi-bin/forums/ikonboard.cgi?;act=SF;f=28), i ran the original project thru IFOEdit's (the first time i've ever used the program) "Get VTS Sectors"...i then put the project back thru DVD2One and got this message:
"Error adjusting the IFO file. It does not match with the VOB file."
any suggestions as to what i could do? i know more than the average cpu person about DVD editing/authoring, but not as much as some of the "big dogs" around here...be gentle ;).
