Subtitles gone after adding menu

Strange problem here:

When I play the result of my rip without the menu, it plays perfect and it shows the subtitles. But when I add my menu (replacing the original vobfiles with the one from the rip and then run ifoupdate) the movie plays perfect but the subs are gone although the movie mentions that there are subtitles present.

DVD info:

Movie: Requiem for a dream
Menu : VTS_1_x vobs
Main Movie : VTS_18_x vobs
PGC: 2 identical pgc's of the main movie

Not sure whether it will be in the main movie IFO or Video_TS.ifo but the subtitle stream will be specified incorrectly or not at all in your authored IFO. The deafult channel for the first subs stream is 0x20 but it can be anything. Compare your IFO with the original in terms of subtitle streams and there IDs.

To clarify idbirch's post even more, I ll tell u that u placed the subs in the 1st stream whereas the original had them in another location.

Open up the ifo, go to PGCITI section from the top window click the movie's pgc and check the position of the subs. Place yours in the same position, filling the streams above with a dummy sub
