Just a quick question about the script exporting with Scenarist.

I have successfully put together my project with motion/still menus and my main movie w/subtitles. I exported the project to script, which was easy enough.. but when I attempted to open the script I got errors importing the subtitle bitmaps (it said they weren't there). After inspecting the script, I found that the file path for the subtitles was set like ".\sub_0001.bmp" I did a batch replace within the script to change it to the full directory path and this fixed the problem.

Is this behavior normal, or should Scenarist be writing the correct filepath as it does with my other assets?

Also, has anyone been able to get the scenarist "undo" option to work? I had to re-do my menus all over again once due to a mistake I made, and found that "undo" function now working.

Lastly, what's up with the "import chapter" function? Is there some trick to getting it to work, or is the tedious DVD2AVI/ScenChap method the only way to go? I find it kind of hard to believe that a company would sell a $10,000+ app without the features actually working...

Any thoughts or insites would be greatly appreciated!

Kai

U saved in another location than the default one, thats why u lost the link to subtitles.

For your other questions I dont have any answers, I dont work a lot on Scenarist.

I take it nobody uses Scenarist in the "advanced authoring" forum? I'm sorry if they're stupid questions, but I would appreciate at least some kind of feedback.
