Hi! I`m new here. I have been searching the web and this forum for a filter (for VirtualDub) which could make my video look OLD, but I couldn`t find any. I would like to make a video of F1cars racing (the year is 1960). The video is in colors, but I`m going to make it grayscale and I would like to use a filter to really look like an OLD movie. If anyone knows where to find this kind of filter (or similar one) I would be very grateful.

VirtualDub has some filters that can do that kind of stuff, greyscale being the first one I can recall. Avisynth actually has more filters to do that though, particularly filters that weren't made to make a movie look old, but that could very easily achieve that effect (like smoothing, levels, generating noise, ect.).
edit: I should have been more specific when I was mentioning avisynth having "more" filters to this, I was talking about some of the newer, more obscure avisynth filters that could very likely be used to make a movie look old.

Thanks for the help Prettz. I guess I`ll have to start learning how to use Avisynth.
