View Full Version : Second audio stream out of sync
Hi, I did a backup using Dif4U ReAuthorist and kept 2 language tracks. The problem is that the second one is out of sync after the chapter which contained the layer break on the original DVD. I tried ripping the stream with different rippers all the same result async audio. I also authored the movie with ifoedit and it also out of sync. the last thing I did is let DVD2one make a movie only backup an this WORKS! Any Ideas what could be the problem, or what I can try else?

Which versions of DIF4U and RA were you using? Its possible that could be an issue.
DIF4U 1.1.0.16
RA 0.6.0.5
P.S: It seems to be a problem with the AC3 file, i´ve extracted the scene change and there is a skew in the file. I will try to rip it with SR again and see.
Hi, just wanted to tell you that I fixed it. The AC3 file was indeed corrupt, I tried all rippers with the same result. Here the trick, I demuxed both language track into wav, all channel seperatly with Besweet. The error was during the scene change to the chapter with the layer break, about 0.5 sec of the audio was missing. So I erased the part in the corrupt one and replaced it with the 0.5 sec longer part from the good audio track. The final wav was 100% ok and since the corrupt part contained no speech there is no difference noticable. Well did this for all channels, reencodet them into an AC3, reauthored the DVD and its fine :)
