Hi everybody,
DVX supports now mkv as container,
most users here probably do everything
manually or use tools they are used to,
in case you are looking for new, maybe
better ways, I suggest to give it a try.

in case somebody has problems with the updater plugin (like me), the url for the required VDMod cvs build can be found in the changelog

Hi folks,
new version is out. If somebody has a screwed image in the preview please let me know, I think I know now a workaround. Lately I had not many ideas for new features so if somebody has ideas, please post it

Latest changes:
3.040b
- added dutch translation, DVX supports 7 languages now, thanks to Safcon
- added dropdown list for easier selection of subtitles in audio menu
- added containerformat (avi, mkv, ogm) selection to options
- fixed bug command and arguments was not saved in the execute dialog, thanks to roppp
- fixed bug Extras Reset and reinstall didn't reset the program settings
- fixed bug video plays jerky because DVD2AVI used forced film (25 -> 20 fps)
- added progress bar when open a source file so the application don't look slow
- the size of the translation editor can be changed, by default the dialog is maximized now
- added IVTC and Hybrid to AviSynth menu in main dialog, the settings of the menu will be reseted to the defaults
- added a 1000 frames buttons and help button in preview and updated the help for the preview with a short explanation about deinterlacing and IVTC
- fixed display problem of the trackbar in the preview being slow loaded
- added tooltips for the AviSynth menu in the main dialog encoding parameter preview is now shown with a dialog and textbox with scrollbars, thanks to tHe gLouCh
- cd burner detection fixed
- changed various codec settings, XviD is now default
note: DVX codec defaults only contain differences from the original defaults so DVX defaults + original defaults are recommend, nothing has to be customized
- other small improvements not worth to mention
- fixed bug special characters in the source file name didn't work (some VDMod methods use different text encoding)
