dvdshrink doesn't shrink

Made several attempts to shrink a movie dvd from files created by dvddecrypter without success.
Could the dvd itself prevent this?

I cannot tell from your question whether or not you have been using Doom9's DVD Shrink Guide (http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvdshrink-main.htm), but I would hazard a guess that the answer would be, "No."
