VirtualDub does the job, Why use VirtualDubMod?

I have been using VirtualDub and nandub with avisynth v2.51 to do all my processing

Why is there a need to use virtualDubMod?

Are people using VirtualDubMod because VirtualDub doesn't work with Avisynthv2.51 on their computers?

Is VirtualDubMod suppose to be faster?

Why is there a need to use virtualDubMod?that just shows that you have no idea what vdubmod does in the first place. Ever tried to add multiple audio tracks to an AVI? Ever tried to create/cut ogms or matroska files? Ever tried to mux VBR MP3, AC3 or DTS to your video files in VDub? These are just a few things VDubMod does and VDub doesn't.
