Would someone please help me create an .ini file to automatically set some file associations in Win2K?
Here's the readme from the package I'm putting together. The icons are done and this works but it's manual and a pain every time it needs to be established:
DCR Shockwave
SPL Flash
SWF Flash
AAM Authorware
How to load these in Windows 2000:
Copy the icons to C:\Windows\Program files\Macromedia Icons
Open a Windows Explorer window and go to Tools|Folder Options|File Types
Create new types for each of the above listed types
The default action should be called "open" and have an action like this:
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" -nohome %1
Set the icon to point to C:\Windows\Program files\Macromedia Icons\
