There are so many tools provided for use with Windows OSs, are there any tools for Linux too?
What can be used for
- ripping? (Like SmartRipper)
- demuxing? (Like VOBedit)
- extracting subtitles? (Like SubRip)
- extracting chapters? (Like ScenChap)
- viewing .IFO-files (Like IFOedit)
- and most important - reauthoring? (I fear there is nothing like Scenarist)

Has anyone experience in creating DVDs with Linux...?
