is it possible to use doitfast4u and docc4u on dvds that need splitting by vobid?
The reason I'm asking is that cce crashes 2.50(freezes) everytime I try this. It might be something I do wrong.

It should work just fine. Eyes`Only did put in the option to demux by VobID and CellID. DoCCE4U will encode by the parameters that DIF4U sends it on startup.
Hope that helped.

Have you ever tried it? In my case it crashes everytime. Titles that can be demuxed by pgc work fine.
I guess it has something to do with the dvd2avi projects that are recreated, but I'm not quite sure what.
But maybe the author of docc4u can give a comment on this:sly:
I've vobid'd by mistake and it all went well.
The only thing I would say (with regards to cce freezing) is that I now uninstall then install cce2.5 prior to each dif4u and the whole process and integration with docce4u goes off without a hitch each time.
This cce freezing problem seems to occur more frequently with xp sp1 than it does with Win2000. At least it does in my case.

If you are using my last final build you may have problems with DoCCE4U since DIF4U 1.1.0c didn't calculate bitrates for vobid and told DoCCE4U to do them at 0 (causing a CCE crash). If you are saying this is occurring my latest builds, then I am very surprised.

Hi Eyes Only, thanks for the reply
As far as I know I use 1.1.0.c. I'm a little bit confused Do you mean this causes problems or doesn't cause problems. If I understand you correctly you say this version does cause problems but the latest version doesn't (and I thought this is the latest version??).
This is probably not the correct spot for this but I encountered two other problems lately:
1)doitfast4u doesn't demux mpeg1 audio streams (only a pal thing I think, using mpeg1 audio).
2)I had this concert registration with both a dts track and a uncompressed PCM track (wav). Both tracks were extracted fine, but the wav track was not taking into consideration for the bitrate calculation causing a mpv video stream that was about 1 GB too big.
(and reauthorist disregarderd the wav file too by the way but that's an other problem).

Both of the last 2 issues were addressed in my soon to be final builds. If you'd like a preview, try http://doitfast4u.doom9.org/DoItFast4U.v.1.1.0.16.exe but remember, it's beta.

I'll give it a try. Thanks.

I've tried the new beta and encoding gives me no problem at all! Thank you.
The splitting by vobid doesn't do subtitles though, but I used the older version for that, so I'm quite happy.
