3 hours for a backup?

Why does a backup operation tooks 3 hours?!? A complete SQL dump and file archiving is about at max 5 minutes... :confused:

because some processes got crazy, killed the performance, and then we had a table corrupted.
And your comment sounds awfully demanding as if we owe you constant up-time.

Name me another board with more than 30.000 members + downloads, guides etc. without any financing like ads etc. then we could talk more about the long backup time and server problems...

I remember quite a few sites that had much more problems that were supported by ads, promotional activities etc.
