Hi, I've got a Radeon 8500 and now I bought a Vision Plus 1030 Sat board. When I installed the software, it installed a Elecard MPEG2 software decoder, has nice quality, but MPEG 2 Hardware decoder of my
Radeon is a lot better.

If I use Power DVD, the acceleration is not found, while with WinDVD 4 all works fine.

Is it possible to tweak Windows (ME and XP) to use Hardware acceleration as default? Is it there a Direct Show filter that uses hardware acceleration of my radeon?

And also I often use ProgDVB for playback from DVB sources, but it uses Elecard. It has also a built in Graphedit, but I really don't know how to use it ... AFAIK it could help me, but I don't know what to do ...

Yes with ProgDVB you can use other filters than Elecard, try this forum (http://forums.dvbnetwork.com) it has all the info you need about ProgDVB...

Thank you very much ... when I find something I'll post again :)

[EDIT]

Here we are. I found some Filters for ProgDVB http://www.montsat.cg.yu/novo/filteri.rar unpack them in ProgDVB/FilterGraphs directory.

I tried some but they didn't go ... I'll retry later
