cant connect to any capture drivers

Im using v dub for the first time . I do have all the latest dlls. When i try to capture avi I get the err "capture driver not detected" then I get " v dub annot connect to the desired capure driver trying allcapture drivers then I get "Panic vdub cannot connect to any capture drivers " I have an ati all in wonder 7500 that works perfectly with other capture programs . Dvd worksop Windvr etc . please advise . Also I tried to use v dub mod w/vcr that gets the same errors . One more clue When I go into the mod version and try to enable bx8t8 support I get a load error . Thanks

Obviously you didn't do your homework! This is in the official doc (http://www.virtualdub.org/docs_capture)!
Additionally I don't think an AIW has a bt chip.

Belgabor . Things are not always as they seem . I saw what you refer to and although it describes why the problem occurs it does not give much help with a fix which is what Im after . Dont be so sensitive

That's why you should give as much information as possible :)
It's always a good idea to say something like "I read the doc/here, but this doesn't seem to apply to my situation for ... reasons, is there something else i could do?"

In your case you should have made clear which OS you are running and whether you use VFW or WDM drivers (And if the latter is not clear, you could have said something like 'my drivers say ".." are those VFW or WDM?').
