Hi, maybe someone can help me with this. I did a backup of James Bond - Dr. No using DoItFast4U, ReAuthorist and DoCC4U. The main movie is in vts_1, after updating the original ifo I tried playing the files, but the playback stops after the logo, if a press play again everything goes well, menus work, main movie plays flawless. What could be the problem? I attached a zip containing the original and the updated ifo.

We can't accept ifo attachments as they are a violation of copyrights, sorry!

Ok I see, does anyone have an Idea what could be the problem? The logo is the first thing that appears in the playback. It is title 4 in vts 1, it then switches to title 6 and pauses. Or where can I search for something in the ifo?

It seems like you're trying to do a main movie only project. Try doing it the 'perfectionist way' and see if you have the same issue?

Hi,

I´m doing the 'perfectionist way', on this DVD the logo shows before the Menu comes up. Unfortunatelly it pauses before the menu, everything else works, the main movie plays without problems.

Well it sounds like the POST command to jump to the correct title has been lost. What settings did you use in ifoupdate?

Well I ripped with DoItFast4U and did the encoding with DoCCE4U, authoring with Reauthorist. All went without errors. Maybe I should check the postcommands manually.

Did you use Get VTS Sectors in IFOEdit or the one in IFOUpdate? I haven't had any luck using IFOUpdate for that.

Yes I thought of that too, but no positive result.

@ Eyes`Only: I used IfoUpdate in normal mode, an corrected the vts sectors in Idoedit. If you mean the detailed settings, then I´ll have to look them up when I´m back from work.

Ok here my settings, IfoEdit in normal mode.
Enabled Options :
Transfer VTS_C_ADT Table
Copy Color Table for each PGC
Autoanalyse original ifo

Hmm no idea bud. Those seem like good settings to use. You've tried ifoupdating using the original ifo again?

Hi catss, I can give you the solution to your problem :) . But unfortunatly I don't know the cause of it  .

I used to have this problem with many titles I did with DIF4U and RA. I talked with aquabuble about it, but we couldn't figure out where the problem comes from exactly. I believe that it is related on how scenarist is handling still images. Anyhow for me the logo in the original movie is 5 seconds long and then you'll see the main menu. I had the same problem you were having, I had to press play in my standalone to move on to the main menu. There are 2 solutions for this problem. You can either use 2COOL guide to bypass the logo or you can do like what I did. When you finish backing up your DVD just open it in ifoedit and use the following guide which is used to keep the main movie, but here you have to choose everything. Don't strip anything, simply follow the guide, but choose everything.

After I did this I noticed that when I played my DVD that I can see the logo and it will forward toward the main menu. I hope that will help you ;) .

@ Rack:

THX a lot, it works now. One thing to mention, do not check "Create new Ifofiles" in the Vobextras dialog box and check "Auto-copy Menu files to destination". After Ifoedit rebuild the DVD everything works now, somehow funny, since this "should" not really change much :). Just skipping the logo didn´t work for me.
