Requiem for a dream

Has somebody seen this movie. I got it but i can't play it on my dvd-player. After I put the DVD in the player, everything looked fine, it started to load the DVD. But after it schould show me tha main menu it switched back to TV.

The DVD is complitly new and there are not scratches on it.


the dvd is NTSC and code 1. The player is also a code 1.

i've seen it. it's very good, while at the same time quite hard. not for the faint of heart.

Very good movie.
Why it not works by you is not possible to know - try with some other player to see is some incompability in case...

I would like to watch that dvd in my dvd-rom, but at the moment that is not possible. my hostfamily in america, which i am spending the year with, don't have a dvd drive in their computer.

but at least i learned some enlish over here. which i can use in this forum.

my tip: don't watch it after braveheart and once we were warriors at 2am in the morning having spent the whole day by yourself in a small room.. you're tempted to blow your brains out afterwards.

I tried to watch the movie this weekend again and it worked!!!

The director has it's on style, but the movie is realy good. The movie shows you a lot how you can end up if you take drugs.

I think the scene at the end with those two girls was a little bit to much.
