Well first off im working on some Ranma 1/2 dvds and several of the ifos look like this.

PGC_1 (program chain): [Title(TTN): 1] [00:23:30.03 / 30 fps](Programs: 5) (Cells: 5) (uses VOB-IDs: 1)
[Ch 01] [Pg 01] [Cell 01] [V/C Id: 1/ 1] : time: 00:01:35.24 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:01:35.24] [Frames: 2874]
[Ch 02] [Pg 02] [Cell 02] [V/C Id: 1/ 2] : time: 00:10:35.21 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:12:11.15] [Frames: 21945]
[Ch 03] [Pg 03] [Cell 03] [V/C Id: 1/ 3] : time: 00:09:48.03 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:21:59.18] [Frames: 39588]
[Ch 04] [Pg 04] [Cell 04] [V/C Id: 1/ 4] : time: 00:01:30.01 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:23:29.19] [Frames: 42289]
[Ch 05] [Pg 05] [Cell 05] [V/C Id: 1/ 5] : time: 00:00:00.12 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:23:30.01] [Frames: 42301]

PGC_2 (program chain): [Title(TTN): 1] [00:23:30.03 / 30 fps] (Programs: 5) (Cells: 5) (uses VOB-IDs: 1)
[Pg 01] [Cell 01] [V/C Id: 1/ 1] : time: 00:01:35.24 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:01:35.24] [Frames: 2874]
[Pg 02] [Cell 02] [V/C Id: 1/ 2] : time: 00:10:35.21 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:12:11.15] [Frames: 21945]
[Pg 03] [Cell 03] [V/C Id: 1/ 3] : time: 00:09:48.03 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:21:59.18] [Frames: 39588]
[Pg 04] [Cell 04] [V/C Id: 1/ 4] : time: 00:01:30.01 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:23:29.19] [Frames: 42289]
[Pg 05] [Cell 05] [V/C Id: 1/ 5] : time: 00:00:00.12 / 30 fps [Pos: 00:23:30.01] [Frames: 42301]

As we can see there are 2 PGC's both using the same VOB-IDs, so since DIF4u gives me the checkboxes to demux both PGCs i uncheck the second one feeling its the same. Mostly curious if this is the correct way to procede with this, also currious as to how on earth i go about re-authoring this. Well that pretty much covers it.

Yep. You did exactly what you are supposed to do. When you go to reauthor it, just use the same track for both pgcs.

Alright, I did as I assumed and as you confirmed to be the correct way to handle it. The backup works as intended. Althouh it still seems sort of redundant having 2 PGC's like that.
