xlogo -> help

Hi!

I checked delogo, but I have some problems with xlogo.

VD write -> Cant initialize filter
Why ?

And I have some problems with the instruction

1. I make a picture
2. I load this into Photoshop
3. I cut anything except the logo
4. I blacken everything around the logo
5. I load this into the Xlogo filter

Is this right ?

But I don´t understand the optional way, with the second picture
