i have been using DVDshrink1.03, and have not had any problems until now. i have been working on Femme Fatal (sp?) and starwars ep1. they both crash DVDShrink and DVDDecrypter about half way through. are there some movies that can't be riped or do they just need more work than normal? thanks for any help.

I have ripped and backed up both of these movies with no problem. For ep1 just select the angle that you want and rip it, and for femme fatale just select the PGC that you want and rip it.
Good Luck

On the 2 rare occasions that I had a problem ripping, I just put the DVD in the other player (I have a player and a burner) and it ripped fine. You might try that... oh, and I also ripped Femme Fatale without a hitch.

this is probably obvious, but have you checked the discs for scratches? I've done both of them and it worked fine...

Hi just a suggestion, but shrink does not handle multi angle movies, pretty sure I have seen comments on forums that star wars is multi angle. I ran into same problem with Die Another Day. After ripping noticed first file was smaller than the original DVD file, I was processing 1 angle. In DVD Decrypter under settings, file mode, remove tick from multi angle processing see if that helps, it did for me.
