Can this program be used with a fat32 file system? I've been trying to use it at work with a fat32 file system and I keep getting the error that the file will be bigger than 4gb.

there is no change to use it on a fat32 filesystem becouse the m2v file is normaly bigger than 4GB and fat32 can't use files larger than 4GB.

Is there a way to convert without reformatting the drive?

sure is :). convert /? on the command line should help, or just do it with convert /FS:NTFS X: (X: = drive letter). usually it will be done during the next boot. of course no data will be lost.

But if it's not your computer check with IT first. There is no going back.

Thanks Thop. Worked perfectly. I don't know why I assumed it couldn't be done. I must have asked 10 people, not one knew about the convert command.
Mpucoder: Thanks for your concern. The computer is not hooked up to the network and no one in my office knows anything about computers. I come in early, when no one is there and start encoding. I shut off the monitor, they don't even know the computers on. If someone did see it was on, they don't care or know enough to question it.
