Hi,
I am a relative newbie to video processing and am having problems with a file I downloaded.
It is in three parts which I have joined with virtual dub.
I have also used BeSweet/BeSweetGui to convert the AC3 audio included to MP3 (want the file to fit on one CD).
I wrote off a VCD rip of the file which plays perfectly on my standalone until I noticed the audio gets out of sync toward the end of the movie.
On looking a bit closer I found the video frame rate to be 23.796 (NTSC) and the audio for some reason to be 23.989 fps. This means the audio duration is seven seconds shorter than the video.
I've tried changing the frame rate with BeSweetGUI but (I still get the same frame rate in my output and the same (incorrect) duration.
Is there a tool that will allow me to change the frame rate of my MP3 file and therefore stretch it to fit the video.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Rob.
