Pinnacle DVD Impression Problem

I've just been trying this out and found it a very good program, the only thing is i cant preview the video, the menus and all the audio work fine, but just a black screen when trying to preview actual video.

Is there a way to get it to work?

Do you actually have Direct$how MPEG2 codecs installed on your system?

Let me put it another way, do the files play ok in media player before you import them into Impression?

It's ok now it's all working, i didnt install the filters that it installs after it reboots your computer. I cancelled them becuase i didnt eant even more filters and codecs on my computer than there already was.
