Hi everybody.
I've installed the latest adaptec ASPI driver. I used the option "install.bat xp32" since I'm running WindowsXP Professional.
The aspichk.exe utility shows the four files installed and says "ASPI is properly installed and fully functional" but this is not highlighted, is grey!
Did I install it correctly?

it sounds like it's installed, but to be sure, why dont you try running something that uses ASPI and see if it recognizes it?

I've taken your advice Cappyd: DVD decrypter worked fine, but Nero Info Tool said my system ASPI was corrupted, and ClonyXXL reported problems too.
So I used ForceASPI and now everything is OK.
