Just received v1.5b1 in an email, a preveiw has been added and support to burn after transcoding is finished using CopyToDVD. I'm playing with it now. Results to follow!

@MackemX:
New features in V1.5
-Preview window (needs DirectX8).
-Can burn automatically if you have DVDtoCopy in your computer.
Comments:
New features work correctly, however when using DVDtoCopy I always get DISK ERROR in one of my players. This error is cause by DVDtoCopy and not by the transcoder ( I also try DVDtoCopy with files proccesed with DVD2one, IC, and Ifoedit). Is there any setting that should be changed in DVDtoCopy to avoid this DISK ERROR?

PD. If you want to test new beta version E-Mail DigiMedic. :p

DVDtoCopy never works for me. I use Stomp, works great.

Agreeing with mpucoder, the only other program that writes 100% compliant DVD's is Prassi's PrimoDVD. Between that and RecordNow Max, you'll be fine.
Nero should not be considered.

That actually was in answer to "what is "Stomp"?"
But, here's something that sould interest everyone. Stomp is only a distributor, RecordNow Max is written by Prassi, which was sold to Veritas. It is nearly identical to Prassi Primo.

Nero should not be considered.
What is this about? I hear it now and then but I have never had any trouble using Nero to burn DVD and play them back.
Thanks,
Don

Personally I hadn't had a coaster until I tried burning DVDs with Nero. It could be a fluke but I am not willing to find out. It burned me twice. One time with a dvd-video and the other was a dvd data disk. Nero randomly just left files out of the compilation. I would have never known had I not asked it to verify written files.
I do use Nero for 90% of my cd burning needs but I have decided on Recordnow Max and Alcohol 120% for my dvd burning needs.

Nero works perfectly for some yet others have problems, so this is why some people recommend against using Nero which is their fair opinion
but as usual like every other bit of software I use on my PC it works just fine for me so I'm happy :D
I can't really recommend it just cos it's works perfectly for me tho but I can say I've had no problems with it and I like the fact it complains if IC/DVD95COpy etc produce a non compliant DVD cos then I know if Nero complains then my Sony will also :)
