View Full Version : Instant copy CD-DVD unexpected close ?

Hi.
i have been trying to run Instant copy one of my DVDs but instant DVD closes before the thing is done transcoding and i am left with a 953 meg file on my computer thats less than 1/500 of the dvd
anyone know what causes this ? or how to fix it ?

whar DVD is it?
does it crash in the same place?

the did is Futurama disc one. i have not messed with the other discs
and i have not stared at the program as it was doing its thing but i always come out with a file that is 945megs (dont recall the exact number but its always the same) so i assume its crashing in the same spot

rename that file to .VOB and play it near the end
you will then see exactly what is crashing it if you find the same piece of video in the original VOB's
when you find it check out what follows in the next minute or so and see what the content is
you may be able to remove it like I did with the Simpsons

I am trying to use DVD shrink now. it gets through it all. the DVD but when i try 2 play it (on the comp) i get a region error :/

interesting you checked all 1,2,3,4,5,6 in dvdshrink? If so then perhaps this is the RCE protection. I guess only way around it now is to rip with dvddecrypter then use dvdsrhink.
