Simple question, so far have yet to find a simple answer. I'm running on Maestro and I've run up against the problem of max number of buttons on a menu. So far I've read the total allowed is 36 as long as you have single aspect menus. The max I keep getting is 25 (not sure why, running only single aspect) The main question is does anyone know a way to work around this limit and get more buttons per menu?
Since so far as I've seen the answer as no.. is there a hardware/software limitation which Maestro is complying to by only allowing 36 total per menu?

36 is the limit for players, divided up amongst the display modes (not aspects, all menues in a titleset must be the same aspect). Since 4:3 has only one display mode, all 36 may be used for it. 16:9 has three possible display modes: widescreen, auto-letterboxed, and auto-Pan/Scan. Widescreen is allways permitted, permit one of the auto modes and there are 18 buttons for each display mode. Permit both auto modes and there are 12 buttons for each display mode. I don't know why Maestro limits you to 25.
