I cannot get the software my unit came with to burn my vob and ifo files to disk.

Veritas Record Now
Sonic MyDVD
ArcSoft Showbiz

Anytime I try and burn a data disk with the VIDEO_TS folder as the root, it just fails, however, when I run NERO it works fine. Unless you guys now how to get this to work with the software I got, which burning tool is the easiest to use in terms of movies, and data (I would also love to burn DVD-Audio if possible) and the most reliable?

RecordNow: Tools > Options > Data Disc > [_]Recognize VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders (off).

If this solves your problem, it means that your VIDEO_TS folder is not according to the DVD-specification. This doesn't mean that your back-up won't be readable.

I got a Sony DRU500AX and i only use Record Now for burning...it works perfectly...btw it's Record Now DX V4.60
Are u sure u have checked the "Recognize VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS per the DVD specifications" ??
