Well, I've tried to use DVD Decripter in info mode. I've checked Stream Processing and unchecked the unwanted so only ac3 files were marked and demux.... I've ended up with only a vob file and a txt file but no ac3 files. Is it normal? I've thought I should have ac3 files only or at least.
What shell I do with this vob file to get ac3????

Hi molmik,

you can use DVD2AVI to get ac3 files from vob file. DVD decrypter sometimes didnīt work for me. It gives me ac3 track but I canīt import it into Scenarist.

Well, I've figured out the problem. I tried to use DVD2avi first without success and turn to DVD Decrypter. Finaly it solved my problem. But how? So I've choosed stream processing and select the appropriate ac3 sound file and demux it by right klick on the file and choosed "demux this file". It worked fine, however by checking the windows below did nothing! I hope I made it clear. It looks like a bug in the application.

What version are you using? I use the demux box all the time and I haven't had any problem yet.

@molmik

Iīm completely lost :(

The right way to rip some part of VOB file into .mvp, .ac3 or subtitle format is in ISO mode in DVD Decrypter select e.g. PGC, check stream processing and click on each part of this PGC (each track or each subtitle) you want to extract and for each select demux.

As I read my post I donīt find it very clear so there is a link to doom9īs guide ;)

I've used DVD Decrypter in Info mode. I'm using the newest version of it (DVDDecrypter 3.1.5.0). Well, it lokks like my PC has the bug. I'm not supprised, MS system... :)

Last week the weather was quite nice, but the last days it's been raining :(

Let's just hope it'll stop for tomorrow.

Is it just in Sweden or are other countries also celebrating 30th march? We do it by lightning fires and barbecuing hot dogs with our friends and familys (and of course there's usually a lot of alcohol involved... :)).

Here is it the same. Iīm not sure why but this day is called "witches". The main reason for celebrating is to burn to "death" all witches we can find :). Barbecue and alcohol are also involved :D :D (and headache next morning :( :( ).

I thought that there is a prohibition in Sweden, isnīt it??

Seriously... I assume you mean for lightning fires? I don't think so. Would it be temporary or permanently?

No - my mistake. I assumed alcohol.

But as I took a look on internet I found out that there is only "half" prohibiton (special alcohol shops and no weekend shopping in these shops). Do you watch ice-hockey championship in Finland??

P.S. Our government still agrees with burning witches :). We are not so modern society :D :D .

How does it work when there is no prohibition then? I thought the way alcohol shopping worked in Sweden was pretty much standard in most countries (just goes to show you how little one really knows about other countries and their laws and traditions). Can you buy strong liquor in a normal store?

I think alcohol was forbidden for a couple of years some ~100 years ago, but I'm much too young to remember. :) Maybe hakko504 do? ;)

In our country you can buy alcohol (including strong ones like rum or whisky) freely in every shop whenever you want. There is of course restriction for people younger than 18 years.
As much as I know about other countries it is the same in France, Italy, Germany, England, Holand, Spain, Austria, Croatia, Russia (itīs not surprise:D)... I guess only Sweden and Norway have these kind of restrictions.

I guess that hakko504 is not so old, but maybe he could know someone who is :D. (Just kidding).

Are you calling me old? :D I thought it was my father who celebrated his 60th birthday a while ago. Must have been mistaken ;)

Seriously, there hasn't been a total prohibition here like the US had in 1920s, but liqour was rationed for a number of years from 1917 to 1955, which meant that you could only buy a certain amount of alcohol every month. This ranged from 0 to 4 liters of alcohol of 40% strength for men. Unmarried women usually had a ration of 1-2 liter quarterly, and married women had to rely on their husband to get liqour. It was possible though to apply for extra rations when you were going to have major birthday parties or at weddings and so on. This only restricted the amount of strong liquor that a person could buy, wine and beer was still free, but wine consumption in Sweden was close to zero anyway in those days.

BTW you need to adjust your calendar, it's 29th of April today, not 29th of March.

Forgot to mention that the shops here nowadays are open on saturday mornings at least, so if you run out of drinks on friday evening you can get a 'refill' on Saturday morning ;)

Naw... just kidding. Your father's actually only 5 years older than mine. Then again, I have a brother who's ~15 years older than me...

*Menatally adjusted* I can only wish it was March. Then I'd have 6 weeks to do 8 weeks of work instead of 2. :) Oh, well, it's all over in a month.
