Create IFOs with menu from VOBs alone - possible?

I Only have the movie vobs [VTS_01_1*.vob] and the Menu VOB [VTS_01_0.vob] for one of my foreign films. But when I used "Create IFOs" - It ignored my menu VOB and the resulting IFOs did not retain Menus.

Is there a way to retain the menus?

Not possible with ifoedit. You have to demux the files and reauthor them with another authoring program.

I've got a similar issue. My original IFO's I have go straight into the movie when the disk is inserted into both my PC and set top. However, I'm able to get back to the movie be pressing/selecting the menu button. The IFO's I created with IFOedit go straight into the movie as well, but don't have/don't respond to the goto menu request.
When I press Get VTS Sectors it acknowledges the menu vob is there, and advised me to delete it. Might be just easier to reauthor the entire thing.
