I've made a little frontend to help ease the process of backing up DVDs. It will rip an encrypted dvd, make an iso, and burn the iso. It uses external programs to do this, you have to have dvdrecord or cdrecord-dvdhack (the program expects dvdrecord, so you will need to symlink it if you have cdrecord-dvdhack), a recent mkisofs, and dvdbackup (binary provided, just move somewhere in your $PATH). It should work out of the box. Also, you may want to have dvdrecord suid to root, else you may have problems (or just run dvdsuite as root, up to you).
It's my first attempt so expect bugs. I'd appreciate any feedback you can give. I've setup a temporary download page at http://12.153.203.132/downloads/dvdsuite.tar.gz.
Do note that this will rip and burn a DVD, but it will do no encoding at all...you'll need to use another program to shrink it down to fit.
