Dvd Burning Problems With Nero!!!!

Hello,

thought that i was through with everything....but.....

I split with IFO-EDIT a DVD...so i get disc1 and disc2...
i think that i did everything right...

i started to burn disc2 and everything went fine.
then i wanted to burn disc1 and i got the following message:
the resulting DVD-VIDEO might be unplayable, do u want to continue?? before it said Video files could not be aranged or something like that...
i ignored the warning ...but the dvd did not play in my standalone


Can someone HELP me ..don´t know what to do

Hi chefrep,

I never split DVD9 on two DVD-R but I have red about this problem. I don´t remember the solution but I guess you can easily find it in Ifoedit section of this forum. And in my opinion Nero isn´t the best solution for DVD burning esp. for Sony players. I suggest you ImgTools from CouJo. :)

I use img tool 0.89 from coujo which is pretty good at making the image files but what can burn them besides dvd decryptor because all dvd decryptor gives me is errors at the start of burning, quite a few of my discs go to waste because of this.

thx for your help....

i found a solution....i don´t know why but it worked.

instead of using DVD-Video in NERO i used DVD-UDF and everything was fine;)

Nero use UDF 1.2 I think in DVD video mode which can cause prob with some SA.

Why don't you try the great free ImgTool burner ? It use Nero engine and gives perfect results.

anyone get ImgTool 1.00.4 to work with Nero 5.5.10.20? I click on it but nothing happens

it says this from the FAQ
F: Nice Tool, but it doesn't start...
A: You need an installed version of Nero Burning Rom 5.5.9.14 or better to run ImgTool. If you have installed Nero and ImgTool doesn't run, try to reinstall Nero. This will help in most cases.

I Have nero 5.5.10.20 working with imgtool 1.0.4.

But I had exactly the same trouble long time ago, and I uninstalled every burning proggy and re-install Nero. Il solved my prob, and never get the prob back.

yep I just reinstalled nero 5.5.10.20 and lo and behold it works

I've also erased my old guide on burning with Nero as this is so much better and easier.
