what is the diff between cell-id and vob-id?

Another newbie here.
Trying to use VobEdit to remove the "FBI warning" and "End Credit" and "logo" and ...

1) When demux I need to select vobId or CellId. Can someone please explain to me when should I use VobId and when to use CellID?

2) If I want to extrack chapter by chapter (for karaoke like dvd) what option shoul I use?

Cell id is the smallest sized part of the larger vob file, normally one chapter per cell, but then thats not always the same for every dvd. And vob id is normally a combination of several cells together depending on how the dvd was authored. For the second question, demux to cell id will be the most common again depending on how it was authored. Also u can view the ifo file with ifoedit to tell if every cell is a seperate chapter or not.
