Hi, im using video studio6 and i've noticed when i encode to vcd field order A(only mpeg1), then say, i cut abit out of the movie then save again using same settings it would take about half the time of the movie duration, no matter how much times i create an output. But with frame-based after the first save it creates an output in a few minutes.
With mpeg2 creating another output with the same settings(whether Field order A or frame-based) finishes in a few minutes.
So i just wanted to know if there is a difference between them because the default for mpeg(pal) is frme-based and mpeg2(pal)is field order A?:confused:
