ac3 playback in winamp!!!!

I am using in_vac3.0.dll ac3 plugin for winamp 2.9, but am unable to configure the speaker settings to 5.1 from 2. i hv SB live 5.1 and 5200 inspire speakers, no matter what config u cahnge in the plugin, it always stays @ 2 channel. I hv set my speaker settings to 5.1 in surround mixer.

Is there any winamp plugin which can output a stereo mp3 file to all 5.1 speakers????, currently i heare only in 2 channels. for eg, in pdvd i hv the speaker config tab where i can select my speakers settings.

Yes there is such plugin. It's called "Simply Surround" (dsp_ss.dll)and it will mix our stereo signal to 4.1 (it cannot separate Central channel which is logical).

I use it for a year now and it works flawlesly.

P.S.
I recently started using Foobar for it's superior quality over WinAmp and it comes with native support for the suurond mixing.
