I've been away from the scene a while and i'm not sure what Is out that can do what I need right now.

The situation, I have several mpg files, I want to be able to set up a batch file and have them all encoded into dvd format, and at the same time link them together in the output file, what would do that for me?

thanks

If they need to be encoded to DVD compliant files, rather than just joined end-to-end, then I would highly recommend ProCoder. It 'stitches' files together as required (during the encoding process), and can accept virtually anything as input files, even if they are of differing formats, AND it does a superb job!(don't forget that if you are feeding it MPEG source files, it will work better with the Canopus MPEG2 DEcoding plugin (part of the retail pack anyway), although ProCoder is still able to read MPEG2 files if you have a software DVD player installed).

M2edit Pro is also an option, but the encoding engine is nothing like as high quality as ProCoder's.

Sadly, neither of these are cheap - hey, you can't have everything! ;) Perhaps you know someone with ProCoder who would be willing to let you do the job on their computer? I'm sure you can be resourceful if necessary..

ProCoder:
