Any way to test w/o wasteing a DVD-R

I have been burning a ton of coasters lately. I was woundering if there is a way to test if the DVD will work in my stand alone player before i waste a DVD-R, like DVD-RW, or some kind of program on teh comp that acts like a standalone.

Use PowerDVD to read the Video_TS folder and see if can play the movie correctly. If you get no error message(s), burn it onto a DVD-RW disc and try it on your standalone DVD player. If you still don't get any error message(s), then burn it onto a DVD-R disc.

Also try to use ImageTools 1.x to burn it...it could help prevent compliance problems
