intervideo ac3 filter and spdif throughput

hi,

i use a soundblaster audigy 2 to decode the spdif throughput ac3 stream. i used valex ac3filter for spdif throughput but with this filter the sound got unsync after seeking into the movie. with the intervideo filter this issue doesnt apear. but this filter does not keep the spdif setting, so i must set it every time i open a movie with ac3 streams. is there a way to get in the intervideo filter the spdif setting to be the default? i searched faqs and other forums but didnt get a solution.
