View Full Version : How to rejoin a split DVD and keep subtitles?

A while back, before DVD2One etc was around, I split a foreign language DVD to two DVD-Rs using ifoedit.

I'm now trying to put them back together so that I can transcode them down to a single disk with DVD2One.

I tried re-ripping the files with DVDdecrypter, renaming the second set of vobs sequentially from the end of the first set, and then used ifoedit to recreate new ifos. It almost worked - the whole movie is present and is transcoded fine to a single disk. But the subtitles have gone from white to horrible blocky green.

Any suggestions appreciated....sorry for the double post in DVD2One forum but no-one there has responded.

Use the subcolor copy and paste command in IfoEdit.

I just did this with 2Cool's-Method (color copy/paste) and the subtitles are really back to white, but there is only english as subtitle available, nevertheless what I choose (german, english, french...) only english subtitles are coming up!!! What do I have to do to fix it, to be able to choose the other languages again ?
Before the copy/paste all languages were available, but in green and they looked fuzzy...
