I would like to ask something again. I'm still working on a way to do a DVD to 2 DVD's movie and I used the following information for that: forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/9893 (http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/9893)

It has happened to me before, that playing the main movie is not a problem, which rocks. The video quality, which is so important for me, stays in tact. On the other hand, I'd like to have the menu work correctly.

I've been using this guide on the movie triple X and the result when inserting disk 2 is that the movie automatically starts, which is perfect. Choosing the DVD menu followed by the choice for some trailers on the other hand does not work. It just doesn't do anything any more.

Perhaps anyone could have a look in that guide and tell me the reasons for my DVD to behave as mentioned above?

Thanks in advance.

Ish

Though you are working on xXx, you should've posted it in new thread since thread was about me doing this movie without splitting. Maybe a Moderator can take this out and do it since I seen it done before.

Anyway...again, if you are having a problem with viewing all your trailers, you may be missing all its files. I've seen trailers residing in separate Title Sets. Try putting all these full Title Sets (VTS_03_* and on) in your second disk folder and then Get VTS Sectors. If it works in previewing, I hope you have enough room on your second disk for you to burn it.

Thanks for the new thread Moderator X but you should've named the title as "xXx" instead of a single X for better title searching.

I had that problem with a movie. After changing the numbers of chapters to the right number I changed the 1. pre command in the second disk in (Jumpss VMGM.) to the vob where your menu is in. In my case the last pre command (the 13 pre command.) was also Jumpss VMGM [number of menu vobfile] so I have two jump commands in video_ts.ifo. Don't ask me why it works in my case I have no clue.:(

But to be honest I have not find yet a good guid because every movie is differend.
Untill now I only have split spygames with the keeping of the menu. You save yourself a lot of work when you use schrink. :p
