Ok I have just discovered Vidomi for encoding my dvd's to divx, I used it for the first time and the quality was way better than any other programs I have used, only problem is now 3 times out of 4 after about 5 minutes it completely freezes my computer so I have to hit the restart button. Any one else have this problem with Vidomi and does anyone know how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated

First thing you should check is if you're overclocking: If you are then immediately turn it back to normal values. Then try Prime95 to see if you have a problem. If you can run that stability test for 24h then start increasing the clock frequency in small steps until you run into problems again. Then go back 1 or 2 steps, re-run the stability test to make sure everything really worked oK, and then use that speed in the future.
If you don't overclock, then I suggest that you try VirtualDub 1.4.13 (and AviSynth2.08) and run a couple of encodes in that. If everything works OK, then throw out vidomi.
