after ripping what next?

hi all again,
well im getting there ive sucsessfully ripped dvd using smart ripper then ive used dvd shrink to get what i want ,its done my shrinking then remapped and saved to hdd plays ok in power dvd but cant copy to dvd-r/w have had a good look through most of the formums and basic guides within www.doom9.org,but as im not as tech headed as most of you can someone give me a simpler step by step guide from ripping to recording onto dvd.ill figure out these programes yet but as to which seqence to use has me stummped..
any help would be greatly appreciated

What burning app do you have? Do you just have a few IFO's and some VOB's on your HD? If so, load them into Gear Pro (or similar app) and burn them to DVD.

hi there.
well im using nero 5 to burn and have tried diff burn methods but none can play on my dvd player .im using archos dvd ram as hard wear and sony 750 as dvd player .have tried using roxio s/w but with no availe.
