Allright, I first ripped a chapter from a DVD, using DVDDecrypter. Then I used DVD2AVI to get the AC3 file out and it also gave me the stream info.

I have no problem with the video or Audio, its the subtitle part that troubles me. This is what it said:

0x20 - Subtitle - English / Normal Closed Captions / LBA: 627445 / PTS: 00:00:09.690 / Delay: 9342ms
0x21 - Subtitle - English / Forced / LBA: 668318 / PTS: 00:01:47.053 / Delay: 106706ms
0x80 - Audio - AC3 / 2ch / 48kHz / DRC / English / LBA: 623894 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: -66ms
0x81 - Audio - AC3 / 2ch / 48kHz / DRC / Japanese / LBA: 623895 / PTS: 00:00:00.280 / Delay: -66ms
0xE0 - Video - MPEG-2 / 720x480 (NTSC) / 4:3 / LBA: 623885 / PTS: 00:00:00.347 / Delay: 0ms

Whats with the DELAY listed for the subtitles?
I used Subripper to rip the subtitle file from the VOB file, made into SRT, converted it to SSA using the prog Converser. But I'm kinda confused with the DELAY setting in the subtitle, does the delay listed here matter?

I know delay matters for audio, but subtitle is another thing. Also if it matters, how does one actually introduce the delay to the subtitle? I am going to put the subtitle into the Video using VirtualDub to hardencode the SSA file into the AVI file.
