BTW, Oscar replaced the first pre release version with the latest one, so even if you download from the old pre release thread you should get the latest version.

Thank you for teaching.
The soft history page was seen.
Although exact nuance is not told in the touch which used this software,
in this price belt, it seems to become killer software.

It will be due to purchase if a release is decided.

ok, i had a bit of a play with it and heres the first impressions:

- DVD Menu interface doesnt like me, i prefer the way DVDMaestro and ReelDVD/scen handle it with just the single subpic, and single background images, but your mileage will vary.

- http://www9.brinkster.com/sportschook/?dvdlabaspect.jpg well it does do Multi PGC, but only 1 VTS ;)

- you can only put a single m2v and ac3 per movie (PGC).

- of course, the single angle, single audio limitation atm (which will be expanded in due course aparently.

overall its a pretty good app, seems to create the DVD structure well, i didnt try the burning. But the menu interface will keep me away from it atm.

Thanks for your comments.

Could you please elaborate the "DVD Menu interface" comment? I don't exactly understand what you mean.

Thanks.

Cheers,

Mijo.

Since DVD Menu Studio was purchased and was already used for the owned authoring software,

it was not bewildered by operation of DVDlab.

Now, the software currently used is ReelDVD2.5 and Impression DVD, and when both creating the menu of a still picture,

it uses DVD Menu Studio. It is in a state the authoring software of the economy class partly released by the secondary market does not have much flexibility and pliability of menu creation.

when using this software and creating a menu, touch that being close to one's original can be built feels

I'm going to attempt to interpret ;-)

I think he is saying that DVD Menu Studio works very well and he uses it to create menus for when he uses Reel and Impression.

Furthermore he says DVD Menu studio can build very nice menus.

However, DVDLab doesn't offer enough features to replace his authoring software.

Close enough deep? :-)

If I use DVDlab properly at present,
I think that I am a time of making the thing of very easy menu composition. Since ReelDVD and ImpressionDVD are mainly used for PR-related DVD creation of a company,
they think that the value as goods is thin to DVD created only by the function which DVDlab carries at present.

well, after reading a bit more, i found this: http://www.mediachance.com/dvdlab/Help/spicture.htm which does what i said i didnt like, but the rest of the menu creation i guess will take some time for me to get used to ;)

so, basically its onpar with ReelDVD (ReelDVD doesnt do multiPGC properly, DVD Lab doesnt allow too many audio/subtitle streams currently)

I don't know, but everytime i try to make a DVD-VCD i found a lot of problems:

Maestro, Scenarist and SpruceUp. A "20" Error in the GOP size that didnt let me use the file

IfoEdit, Ulead WorkShop and DVD Creator: The program put a 1400 Kbps per second flag in the video while the VCD is 1150 originally (and say it is Mpeg-2 while the vcd is 1150).

I capture most of things in VCD because my card and sources are not that good and my capture get thing directly in VCD...

So far the only software that works flawlessly with VCD Video is this, so i think it rocks!!!

He actually doesn't currently support MPG1 video, but that's coming shortly it would seem. So any VCD/MPG1 issues are not entire unexpected :-)

www.mmbforums.com is where the discussions about DVDLab go on btw.

sounds like he's ramping up quickly for the final release.

would have been nice for him to squeeze more audio/sub streams into the program, but i guess we (those who want it) can wait for it.

Another beta (1.0508), since I have not enough time to dwell often on the DVDlab board, mostly there have been several versions between my postings here. Could someone do the job for me? :)

1.055 (father's b-day edition) never would even start up for me. Have to give this 1.058 a try.
