Is Gknot .28 version 10 compatible with the latest Divx 5.04 Beta 4 release? I was able to encode an entire movie with no errors on G-knot, however the movie was way undersized 143 megs, and no vid, just sound? I know that the beta 4 was just released yesterday so maybe that is the problem? I set it up for 3 passes, I was having problem using the the 5 or 6 pass mode, don't know what was wrong with that? But after 3 passes it showed no errors, and file was undersized and no vid?

I will try it agin tonight and if it does not work this time I will attach the log file. However, I watched it as Virtualdubmod encoded the first and second, and third passes. So I don't think that was the problem. Not really sure what the problem was. I have never had that happen before with .27 and vitualdub. Do you think there might be a problem with that .dll file I was missing, but then copied it from the nandub directory over to virtualdubmad dirctory (Sylvia.dll? Once I copied it over there the compression test work properly, just the encode screwed up. Also about the Nth pass, what are you guys testing with 2 pass? or 3? Anything over 4 I am getting an error saying the G-knot path cannot be found. Not sure what that is about either?

I just tested 6 passes with 5.0.4beta4 and everything was just fine...
(not full movie though)

to be safe, you can try installing alpha pack from scratch from this thread http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50507&perpage=20&pagenumber=3
(that will make sure that you're using correct version of the all software ...):
