Error Message
"I-Frame Insertion entry rate is not consistent with current tape frame rate! I-Frame import will be canceled. (0xc102008b)"

Scenario
Importing .mpv and .wav to DVD Maestro, all seem well until I attempt to import a .chp file from Chapter-X-tractor. Then I receive the above error. I was just wondering if this was a know error message to anyone and a fix. More than likely something I am doing in CCE [I Frame setting]causing the 2 parts not to be compatible but darned if I know. I am fairly new to this particular procedure but I was hoping the error might ring a bell with someone, seeing this before that might speed up the learning curve for me with an easy fix. If so I would be very thankful.

Process=frameserve .d2v with / avisynth 2.0.8.0 to / CCE 2.66.01.07 / Import .mpv +.wav to DVD Maestro 2.9 / and trouble starts with .chp file produces with Chapter-X-tractor 0.962 via original VTS_x_x.IFO

Same happens with I try a .m2v file instead of .mpv?

Thanks for the link but I did a number of different searches with an unsuccessfully result. Sometimes if search is not worded exactly correct you just get a NOTHING FOUND. I even tried the error itself as criteria but thanks even if the “try searching” seems a little sarcastic. I do not post until I have at least attempted to find the answer on my own both here and else ware. I thought that one reason for a forum was to give and get help and share information learned from experience, maybe I misunderstand the premise.

PS By the way the problem was a Timecode setting issue in CCE if this helps anyone else.

Sorry if it seemed sarcastic but the only search term used was "I-Frame Insertion"

Are you sure this time-code thing has fixed your problem? As far as I know CCE timecodes will have no affect on how Maestro sees I-Frames.
The incorrect time-code is the issue that causes only half of your chapters to be imported.

The I-Frame error relates to dropped frames and is fixed by using pulldown.

I guess I'm getting a little crotchety in my old age, sorry if I seemed impertinent. As far as I can tell all seem well with just the Timecode adjustment. I was able to import all chapter points and as best as I can tell so far, it all seems correct. I do not know why CCE defaults to 01:00:00 though?? I am still putting together the project in my spare time so the jury is still out on the overall quality and final success. As I said in my post I am new to this particular authoring procedure but I am having fun with the new challenge.
Thanks again

thats been discussed many time before too, and i could tell you to search for the answer, or i could tell you that its used to have some pre-roll on the tape (including a countdown), and you cant have negative timecodes.
