I'm using the latest alpha of Gordian Knot, .28 Alpha 9. I am trying to encode a video, but every time I get the same error. It finishes the first pass, but cannot read from the log file for the second pass.

5:28:59 PM: Finished DivX5-First Pass. Duration: 31 minutes, 39 seconds.
5:29:00 PM: Error: Could not open E:\TWILIGHT_ZONE_VOL35\VIDEO_TS\Static_1_1.log
5:29:00 PM: Error: Could not count encoded Frames.

5:29:00 PM: WARNING: Number of counted frames differs from settings!
5:29:00 PM: WARNING: Settings: 36501

5:29:00 PM: WARNING: Difference: 36501
5:29:00 PM: Correcting Bitrate...
5:29:00 PM: Original Bitrate = 1161 k(=1000)Bits/s
5:29:00 PM: ERROR: Correction impossible.
5:29:00 PM: Now encoding at 1161 k(=1000)Bits/s

I get the same error when using both xvid and divx 5. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

That means no frames were encoded, make sure your codecs are installed and make sure that your avisyth script can be played in a media player.

Codecs seem to be installed, i can get to their setting in virtual dub. The .avs file is indeed playable in media player.

I bet it VirtualDubMod problem (well maybe you're trying to still use virtualdub)

I just deleted my gknot folder and reinstalled everything, including the rippack. Works fine now.
