GordianKnot error in AviSynth

I'm trying to process a movie with inverse telecine, but when virtualdubmod (or any other app) tries to open the .avs, it gives me this error:

Avysinth open failure:
LoadPlugin: "C:\Progra~1\Gordia~1\decomb.dll" is not an Avisynth 1.0 plugin


Any clue?

The decomb.dll included with the alpha is for Avisynth 2.5, it assumes you've made the switch basically. I guess you could overwrite the decomb.dll with the one found in the old gknot pack if you still want to stick with the old Avisynth, but I would recommend trying out the new one. There's a whole FAQ sticky thread about it in the avisynth forum.

when I go to encode a file I get a "virtualdub error" saying "cannot determine file type *.avs"
