Multiple vob problem

Im having a hard time with a one dvd. The problem is the movie has has 9 chapters in VTS_02_x.VOB and VTS_03_x.VOB. What I did I extract each chapter separatly to VTS_01_1.VOB thant I used vobedit to join and ifoedit to make ifos but I ended up with 12 chapters witch some are there twice. I think I did something wrong with ifoedit but I read a lot posts but I have no luck.

Which way did you use to split the chapters?

Try this:
- load VTS_02_1.VOB in VobEdit
- select "Demux" and check "Vob-id" and "demux complete titleset"
this will split your titleset 02 to one Vob-id per vob file.
For VTS_03_1.VOB you can do it the same way, but use a different directory to be sure you dont overwright files.
If all gets right you have 9 files now!
- rename the files to VTS_01_001...009.VOB and copy to one directory.
- load in VobEdit and join clips
...go on as you did before
