Hi guys,
since GKnot now seems to depend on VDubMod and some guys requested OGM support I recommend you to take a peek at the future of VDubMod by compiling the CVS Version of 1.5 and looking at the features (http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/virtualdubmod/VirtualDubMod%20Help/html/V1.5.x/Features.html?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/html) and updates in the scripting language (http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/virtualdubmod/VirtualDubMod%20Help/html/V1.5.x/Scripts.html?rev=HEAD&content-type=text/html).
Cheers

10x, good to know!
But it may take a little while until we start implementing OGM support...

Sure, my post was mainly to say 'Look at this so you won't write code that'll be useless soon' ;)

absolutely great, will be much easier now to migrate to 1.5.1. Seewen told me that what he compiled workes very well and I was also impressed by the many changes. Do you know when we can expect a first public build? It seems all builds since v2 have sync issues, even the fixes. At my board sync issue topics popup at a daly base, before v2 there was no problems.

So this is VDubMod doing this to my OGM files? I was wondering where the hell the problem was. Thanks Dolemite.

after a lot DVX users complained about being out of sync (only the end, beginning is OK) I did a couple of test and found out versions before 1.5.x have this problem when muxing MP3 CBR. Is there any chance to see a public build soon and will ACM audio codecs be supported?

Are u using SetSource(x,1) for VBR and SetSource(x,0) for CBR ?
Coz, yes CBR often is not being muxed properly with just SetSource(x)...
I had to write vbr/cbr detection for GK 0.28 to avoid that problem...

in DVX the user has to select a profile, I used the following profile:
VirtualDub.audio.SetSource("%input%",0);
VirtualDub.audio.SetMode(0);
VirtualDub.audio.SetInterleave(1,500,1,0,%audio_skew%);

I migrated DVX successfully to VDMod 1.5.1
(31. March) because other versions have problems
with muxing MP3 CBR. VDMod team did a great job
on 1.5.1, the way things are handled in 1.5.x is
much better than older approaches and the scripting
documentation made it much easier to migrate.
Can I tell BeSweet to make a CBR header for a VBR
file because VDMod want to make a CBR header anyway
so I can use the same profiles for CBR and VBR
